White Ribbon Day
On 29.03.2006 LISO assisted the Babati District Hospital and Dareda Hospital in their joint celebrations of Safe Motherhood Day (White Ribbon Alliance). We supplied transport and food for the choir of the Dareda Nurses Training School and a drama group from Gajal Village. This is the way we get messages through to people in the villages and we showed it to the people in Babati, who also have their own ways of communication. As they presented.
The day started with a demonstration with banners, from Babati District Hospital to the football grounds

The banners read a.o. All pregnant women should be assisted by skilled health workers White Ribbon Alliance Day 29.03.2006 Tanzania without death from mothers and under fives is well possible, letÂ’s work towards this
